Please do ample research of your own before you decide to embark on your mushroom cultivation journey! Research is imperative to ensure you are equipped with the knowledge of the mushroom type you’d like to grow. There are no guarantees that mushrooms will grow even under the best conditions. Be patient with yourself and the process because there is a major learning curve. Trial and error is the name of the game in mycology! SUPPLIES YOU MAY NEED BEFORE GROWING

I spent years in forums looking for legitimate spore and culture sellers, sterile grain bag producers (while you can make your own grain bags and jars, I found it cheaper and less time consuming to just buy them premade. If you would like to make grain jars or bags yourself, check out videos like these from other reputable home mycologist.) so you wouldn’t have to. Please note: None of the sellers/businesses listed are in any way affiliated with FOWLAZULE, L.L.C. and conversely the same is true; these are just personal opinions from having purchased from these sellers/businesses. For spores & cultures: SporeSwaps, PNWSPORE, High Desert Spores, and North Spore (this seller also offers some amazing gourmet grow kits if you want to skip the fussiness of inoculating grain/wood and transplanting cakes to substrate.) For premade and sterilized grain or wood jars/bags: High Desert Spore and North Spore. All of these sellers can be found online! Amazon has also become a wonderful resource for mushroom growing supplies from grown tents and indoor greenhouses (some preequipped with lighting), fans, HEPA air purifiers, and even sterilized substrates. The only supplies I’ve found essential were the spores, the sterile grain bags, 99% lab grade ethanol, mini butane torch, organic coco coir in 1 pound blocks, gypsum powder, clear plastic 12” x 12” tubs, black duct tape, spring water and a clean space with low light (can be a tent or an even bigger tub). My personal rule of thumb is as long as you really clean your space your mushies will thrive. Mushrooms are found OUTSIDE in the dirty and decay; you really don’t need a ton of high tech super expensive equipment to grow mushrooms effectively.

Fill out the short survey form with your name, your email, phone number, your contact method (Zoom, Google Duo/Meet or Facetime), preferred date and time and what questions you may have prior to the consultation. You will receive an email confirming your consultation date and time or with a different suggested scheduled time within 24 hours.

Service in any unauthorized way whatsoever, including, but not limited to, by releasing or distribution of proprietary information and material that is owned by FOWLAZULE L.L.C.
